Pueblo Water Works, in partnership with Visit Pueblo are proud to bring history to life as part of the America 250 - Colorado 150 Commemoration celebration of our community’s rich heritage.

Rooted in Resilience: Remembering 1921, Celebrating 150, Inspiring 250

Join us on Wednesday, June 3, as we commemorate the 105th anniversary of the 1921 Pueblo Flood with a FREE special outdoor screening of The Great Pueblo Flood by Sam Ebersole and Justin Bregar at the Riverwalk Lawn (corner of Alan Hammel & Main Street).

Event Details:

• Event opens at 7 PM with plus LIVE music Christian Jaquez!

• Enjoy 3 food trucks, 6 local museum vendors, and a Pepsi drink station!

• Film begins at dusk (approx. 8:35 PM)!

This meaningful evening is a chance for our community to come together, reflect, and learn more about the moments that defined us.

We truly enjoyed hosting such an engaged group of community leaders. Your thoughtful questions, curiosity, and enthusiasm for understanding how we deliver safe, reliable water made the visit especially meaningful. One of Pueblo Water's engineers, Justin, spent some time at Villa Bella Expeditionary School for Career Day, inspiring future problem‑solvers and sharing how clean, reliable water helps our community thrive. 💧

We’re proud to support the next generation and show students the many exciting careers in the water industry!

Justin Richardson, Physical Engineer at Pueblo Water shared his afternoon with our third grade students, making their learning more local in context. Students learned how water gets from river to tap.

Our Women of the Waterworks (WOW) team loves volunteering to help create the beautiful floral arrangements that will soon brighten the City of Pueblo.
