Stocker Assistant

This position performs a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, fleet maintenance, and water system maintenance in the Transmission Distribution & Engineering Divisions. Receives and distributes materials and supplies. Assists Fleet Maintenance Department with pick-up, delivery, and inventory of Shop parts.

Classification: Non-exempt, Bargaining Unit
Salary: $48,161.00 - $60,315.00 Annually

Pueblo Water is currently replacing a water main from the Watts storage tank to 28th Street, and then to 27th Street and under Interstate 25 to Dillon Drive. Construction requires crews to drain water to relieve pressure so new pipe installation can be as safe as possible. During construction valves are not completely shut off, keeping small flows in the pipe. To shut off flow completely would leave people without water for weeks. This main replacement is a big project and will take time to complete.

Rest assured, the water is not being wasted, as most of it will return to the Arkansas River through Pueblo’s stormwater and wastewater systems.

There are no issues with water quality, and the drainage will have no effect on Pueblo Water customer bills. We appreciate your patience during this important main replacement project.
