COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION OF “SEXUALLY VIOLENT PREDATOR”

In accordance with Colorado law the Colorado Springs Police Department is notifying the community that Clifford Wayne Chance will be on supervised release and has moved to an address in Colorado Springs. Chance is a s*x offender whose past behavior has led him to be labeled as a “S*xually Violent Predator” (SVP) by the Colorado Courts.

The Colorado Springs Police Department will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that Chance registers as a s*x offender and that he understands his responsibilities as such.

Chance’s criminal history reveals that he was convicted in 2014 of S*xual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust- Victim Under 15. In 1997, he was convicted of S*xual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust- Victim Under 15. And in 1982, he was convicted of S*xual Assault in the Second Degree.

Chance is currently registered as living at 329 Swope Ave. He is described as being a white male, 70 years old, 6’0” tall, 150lbs, with gray hair and blue eyes.
