CASA of Pueblo is a private, non-profit (501 C 3) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and currently employs 9 paid staff.

Help us wish Case Supervisor, Kim Butkovich, a very happy CASA Anniversary! Kim started with CASA in 2022 as a volunteer and join the staff as a supervisor in 2023. We would like to recognize the Domestic Violence Community Task Force as a 2026 Community Impact Sponsor.

The Domestic Violence Community Task Force works to raise awareness, strengthen our community response, and advance violence prevention efforts. By bringing together advocates, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals, the task force creates a network of support to improve safety resources and education for local families.

As part of their ongoing outreach, they are hosting the upcoming Domestic Violence Community Task Force Symposium on Friday, July 10th at Pueblo Community College. This free educational event offers an opportunity to learn, share resources, and collaborate on prevention strategies.

Congratulations to our May Volunteer of the Month, Kendra Wermers !! Kendra has been a volunteer just over a year and is working on her second case. Kendra brings her experience as an educator to her advocacy work and dedicates time to each child she works with to make sure they are receiving all the services they need in order to flourish and thrive.
