We are excited to introduce Coach Mandy Jewell as the new Head Basketball Coach of the Puckett Lady Wolves! An interest meeting for junior high and high school girls who would like to play basketball will take place on Thursday June 18th at 5:30pm in the Multipurpose Room.
“I began my coaching career with the 9th grade girls basketball program at Brandon High School before becoming the Head Girls Basketball Coach at East Webster High School. I later served as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Choctaw County High School, where I built competitive teams and developed a reputation for fostering a culture of hard work, accountability, and excellence.
Throughout my coaching career, I have helped lead teams to district championships, playoff appearances, and championship-level competition while mentoring countless student-athletes both on and off the court. My passion has always extended beyond basketball, focusing on developing young women into confident leaders, teammates, and members of their communities.
After taking a few years away from coaching to focus on family, I am excited to return to the sidelines at Puckett High School. With my daughter entering the 8th grade, the opportunity to help build and grow the Lady Wolves program is especially meaningful.
I am a graduate of Mississippi State University and
looking forward to continuing the proud tradition of Lady Wolves Basketball while building a program that competes with toughness, discipline, and pride.”
