Pryor Fire Department would like to notify the community that you may see smoke and, at times, flames east of the Pryor Creek Golf Course and north of the Lindsey Mayes Bridge.

The Oklahoma Forestry Department has completed backburning in the area. Any remaining smoke and fire will remain contained within the previously burned blackened area.

Pryor Fire Department has been made aware of spam/scam calls to local businesses from individuals claiming to represent the Fire Department regarding inspections and other fire related issues.

Do not provide any information to unknown callers. If you receive a suspicious call, please verify it with us directly:

City of Pryor Creek: 918-825-0888

Pryor Fire Department: 918-825-3131

When in doubt, hang up and verify the call with the Fire Department or City Hall.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the First Responder Classic last night. It was a great evening for a great cause and some friendly competition between Pryor Fire and Pryor Police.

Pryor Fire was fortunate enough to come away with a 16-12 victory!! Apparently the loss was still on their minds this morning, because Engine 1 got pulled over by Pryor Police. We’re not saying it was because of the score… but we’re not saying it wasn’t either.

We appreciate our brothers and sisters at Pryor Police and are already looking forward to next year’s rematch!
