Recent precipitation graphs show just how far outside the norm our area has been, with March well above average and April continuing that trend. With additional rain expected today and tomorrow, soils are already saturated and drainage systems across the county are at/near capacity, increasing the risk of runoff and localized flooding.

According to NOAA’s extended forecast, our area remains under a Flood Watch until 2:00 AM Friday (4/17), with rain showers likely through the next couple of days.
