Today we celebrated our sixth grade graduates! We loved being able to recognize our Hope of America recipients as we opened our graduation services. Thank you to everyone who came to support our students on this special day!

Dear First Grade Parents,

We have loved having your child in 1st Grade this year and want to help them be ready for 2nd grade! Over the summer, students can lose important skills, but a little practice can help. We created this summer learning packet to help your child keep learning and feel ready for school in the fall. This packet has already gone home with your students. We encourage you to spend about 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, working on these activities together. The packet includes reading, writing, and math activities. Each section has simple directions and ideas to help support your child’s learning at home.

1. Choose 1 activity each day from Reading, Writing, and Math.
2. Circle the letter on the calendar on the back page for the activity you completed each day.
3. Have an adult sign your calendar. Bring your completed calendar to your 2nd grade teacher when school starts to earn an invitation to a celebration party!

Students with 50 or more days marked on their calendar will also earn a special prize!
