Vesper Amphitheater will be built from an existing gravel pit and transform it into a one of a kind year-round entertainment destination with both an indoor and an outdoor capacity. It’ll host approximately 8000 indoor guests during the winter configurations, and 20,000 guests during the summer season in a Utah setting unlike anywhere in the Mountain West. Groundbreaking is anticipated to be in the spring of 2027.

“There are certain places in Utah that help define who we are. Provo Canyon is one of those places. Today we have an opportunity to do something deeply personal, a chance to reimagine this area, to restore and preserve it to create something for future generations to come and experience together.” - David Osmond, Executive Director

Advisory Board Chair, Donny Osmond envisions a place where artists and bands say they have got to play Vesper. He says that they are not just building a concert venue, they’re honoring the beauty of Provo Canyon. People from all over the world will travel to see live music at the Vesper Amphitheater.

The second annual Utah County Commissioners Pickleball Tournament was a resounding success, bringing together players and supporters from across the county to stand behind child victims of abuse. Held at The Picklr Lehi, the event was more than just a day of friendly competition—it was a community rally to ensure that every child who comes to the Utah County Children's Justice Center has access to the healing services they deserve.

“This year’s event was an incredible testament to the generosity of our community. Thanks to the support of players, sponsors, and donors, we raised over $15,000 to help families access trauma-focused therapy and maintain a welcoming, safe environment for children and their families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives” said Rebecca Martell, Executive Director, CJC. “The funds contribute directly to making sure that the CJC can continue its crucial work with more than 4,000 clients served last year.”

You can still support the children and families served by the CJC. If you’d like to contribute, please visit: https://givebutter.com/CJC-donation

Utah County has installed two new banners at the Provo Historic Courthouse, each celebrating a milestone of national and state history. One banner honors Utah’s Old Historic Courthouse, built 100 years ago, while the other commemorates the United States’ 250 years of independence. The banners offer a moment of reflection on the building's history and the country’s founding, as residents pass by the courthouse in downtown Provo.

This was the second year of the Utah County Commissioners Pickleball Tournament in support of the Utah County Children's Justice Center , and it was an incredible success!

Players and supporters from across the county came together to enjoy a great day of pickleball while standing behind child victims of abuse. Thanks to the generosity of our community, sponsors, and players, we raised over $15,000, which will help families access trauma focused therapy and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for families during the most difficult moments of their lives.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Utah County Commissioners and employees, Explore Utah Valley and the Friends of the Utah County Children’s Justice Center for their leadership and planning.

A special thank you to The Picklr Lehi, for hosting the tournament in their outstanding facility and making this event possible. We’re also deeply grateful for our amazing sponsors and donors, including Silver and Gold level partners L.K.L. Associates, Inc., Intermountain Health, Rocky Mountain Power wer, UtahCommunity CreditUnion and Balanced Being, whose support strengthens our mission.
