I got to frame in a wall and door today. Such a fun challenge. Used a hammer-shot on my own for the first time. It was exciting. A hammer-shot uses a .22 shell to fire a nail through a 2x4 into the concrete.

I picked up this amazing table and chairs today to refinish. It is so beautiful!!
I already have a gorgeous giant wood table, so I won't need this one. Watch for progress on its restoration.

Such a fun project. Refinished this antique Lane cedar chest. These chests were made by Lane Company from 1912 to 2001. This style is probably from the 40s or 50s.
Real cedar wood interior, with metal components to make it air tight.
I refinished exterior, made a new applique for the front and replaced the lock.
The original locks have a recall that makes them unsafe for children. So I ordered a new safety lock and installed it.

1. Apply Stripper (i like to use Klean Strip)
2. Apply plastic wrap and let it sit for 20 minutes.
3. Scrape outer layers avoiding scrapes too deep.
4. Gently sand off any remaining top coat or stain
5. Apply several coats of stain
6. Apply several coats of polyurethane

It turned out so beautiful.

Pulled out a bathtub insert and created a walk-in shower.
I love the white marble looking tiles.
