South Side! Come out and oppose the latest gentrification threat to our neighborhood! Developers are trying to turn the Hood Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church into 15 one bedroom & micro units, charging an average of $1,100 a month!
After one "community" meeting (where the larger community was not engaged), the developers took the neighbors' concerns about racism and gentrification and made minor changes to their proposal, including adjusting their renderings from showcasing all white people to including some people of color (YIKES!)

Come out and make your voice heard on this TOMORROW, Wednesday 9/9 at 5:30pm. Zoom link is here: https://zoom.us/j/94889627470
