Yesterday, Meeting Street's Daniel Friel (Director of Development/Rotary Club Member) and Melissa Colton (Corporate and Community Relations Officer) joined the The Rotary Club of Fall River, MA to line the entrances of a Fall River Public School and welcome students back for the new school year.
Days like this are a chance for us to connect with the families and partners who make up the Fall River community, and to talk about the work we do every day through our Early Intervention Program. Early intervention services can change the trajectory of a child's development, and we want every family here to know that support is close to home.
We're grateful to the Rotary Club of Fall River for the partnership, and moments like this remind us why community matters.

Ever heard of PAT? It's a free program for expecting families and families with kids up to age 5 in the towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Marion, New Bedford, Rochester, Wareham, and Westport.
A home visitor comes to you (or connects virtually) twice a month to help you understand your child's development, connect you with community resources, and catch any concerns early. You'll also get access to group experiences with other families and education on whatever's on your mind as a parent.
It's all voluntary, all free, and built to help your child show up to school ready to learn. Message us if you're interested in learning more!

Are you a Superhero?
Join Us for the return of The Meeting Street | Schwartz School Superhero Walk, Roll & 5K! Put on your sneakers and join us for a fun-filled day of fitness, family, and community support. Sponsored by Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses.
Both the race and walk will begin and end in front of the Fort Taber Community Center. Walk participants will enjoy a route within the Fort perimeter, while runners will follow a certified 5K course through the local community.
In addition to the walk and race, there will be refreshments, family-friendly activities, and plenty of superhero fun for all ages.

Meeting Street is hiring a full-time Facilities Team Member to help keep our Providence, Dartmouth, and New Bedford locations running. You'll handle general maintenance and repairs across our buildings, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, carpentry, pool upkeep, and more.
We're looking for someone with hands-on facilities maintenance experience and solid mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, plus a valid driver's license. School maintenance experience is a plus. This role is Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM, with some overtime for special events.
