Hard of Hearing Support Group,
Hosted by the ATEL Program

Join other HOH individuals in a supportive space! This group is designed to encourage connection, shared learning, and mutual support among individuals who are hard of hearing.

This month, “Ask an Audiologist!,” Dr. Rachel Smith, Clinical Associate Professor, Audiology Clinic Director, Au. D, CCC-A, F-AAA will answer your questions on using Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), remotes, companion microphones, TV connectors, to make communication easier at home, on the road and social settings.

We will also continue our discussion on creating a hearing loss advocacy card that allows you to discreetly and immediately communicate your hearing loss and communication preferences to others, including first responders, medical staff, and service workers.
