🎉🍔❤️ MCHS End-of-Year Celebration Luncheon & Years of Service Celebration – WE MADE IT!!! ❤️🍔🎉

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, our Mid-Carolina High School faculty and staff gathered in the MCHS Cafeteria to celebrate the end of another incredible school year together. We officially made it to the LAST WEEK of the 2025–2026 school year, and what an amazing journey it has been!

This celebration was a time to recognize and appreciate the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and accomplishments of our outstanding faculty and staff members who give so much to our students each and every day.

Faculty and staff members also brought in a variety of delicious desserts that were enjoyed by everyone. It was truly a wonderful way to wrap up the school year together!

❤️ Assistant Principal Mrs. Tabitha Harmon will be transitioning to a new role in the District Office within the Office of Instruction.
❤️ Coach Michael Mains will be teaching at River Bluff High School next school year.
❤️ School Resource Officer Rebecca Senn will be serving in a different role with the Sheriff’s Department.

While we will greatly miss each of them, we are excited for their new opportunities and wish them nothing but the very best always!

As we counted down the final days of the 2025–2026 school year, the faculty and staff at Mid-Carolina High School had an amazing time participating in our “Countdown to the End” celebration held May 13 – May 22, 2026! 🎉☀️

Each day brought a new opportunity for our teachers and staff to show their school spirit, creativity, and excitement as summer break drew closer. Our first theme day was Mental Health Awareness Day, and we were proud to kick things off by wearing green in support of mental health awareness. 💚

Faculty and staff members submitted photos of themselves dressed for each day’s theme, and one outstanding participant was selected daily as the “Best Theme Dressed” winner to receive a special prize! 🏆

Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the laughter, fun, and positive energy as we celebrated together during the final days of another successful school year.

Unfortunately, due to how hectic the final two days of school became, pictures were not taken and/or submitted for those last theme days. We truly appreciate everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success!

🎓✨ Congratulations to the MCHS Class of 2026! ✨🎓

On Friday, May 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., family, friends, faculty, staff, and our community gathered at Lon Armstrong Stadium to celebrate a milestone years in the making. What a beautiful morning it was as our graduates officially crossed the stage and turned the page to a brand-new chapter of life.

Today we celebrate not only diplomas earned, but also the hard work, dedication, perseverance, memories, friendships, and accomplishments that brought this class to this moment. The future is bright, and we cannot wait to see all that each of you will achieve.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special and memorable for our graduates. Once a Rebel, always a Rebel! ❤️🖤

🎓✨ MCHS Class of 2026 Graduation Practice was a great success, and we could not be more excited! Tomorrow morning, Friday, May 22, 2026, we look forward to watching our graduates officially walk across the stage and celebrate this incredible milestone.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our parents, guardians, grandparents, family members, and community members for your continued love and support of our students throughout their journey. Your encouragement has helped make this moment possible.

As we prepare for graduation, we kindly ask for your help in making this a smooth and memorable experience for everyone. If possible, we strongly encourage carpooling due to limited parking and to help ensure guests are seated by 7:45 a.m. and ready to welcome our graduates as they make their entrance.

We also ask that everyone help us honor all graduates by remaining seated and respectful throughout the ceremony and until all graduates have recessed from the football field at the conclusion of the program. Every graduate and every family deserves the opportunity to fully enjoy and celebrate this special moment.
