In the Reggio Emilia approach, we view children as capable researchers and the natural world as a powerful teacher. What may appear to be a small moment often becomes an opportunity for inquiry, collaboration, and discovery. Through their curiosity, the children practiced observation, communication, empathy, and critical thinking.

We are continually reminded that meaningful learning doesn't always come from planned lessons. Sometimes, it emerges from the wonder of noticing something small and taking the time to explore it together.

This week, we welcomed our Pedagogical Consultant, Adriana, to our school to collaborate with our teaching teams as we begin planning for the upcoming school year. Through thoughtful reflection, teachers developed long-term projections that honor children's interests, questions, and emerging ideas. These planning sessions help ensure that our learning experiences remain intentional, meaningful, and responsive to each child's unique journey of discovery. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and envision the year ahead together.

This summer, we’re taking a Journey Through Movement by exploring how things roll, flow, float, spin, bounce, and change through hands-on discovery. We love observing how each age group interprets the camps theme based on their interest and individualized to their own abilities☀️🚗🎨

Every experience invites children to investigate motion, cause and effect, light, creativity, and the joy of exploring the world around them.

Yesterday, we celebrated a very special milestone: Pre-K Graduation! 🎓

This year has been filled with growth, laughter, creativity, friendships, and so many meaningful moments. We are so proud of our Class of 4's and all they have accomplished. Kindergarten is lucky to have them!
