Go "paperless" when you sign up for e-bills with the Town of Prospect. You will no longer receive a paper bill in the mail. Instead, you will receive an e-mail notification with your tax bill attached. ALL TAX BILLS WILL BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY IF YOU OPT INTO THIS OPTION WHICH INCLUDES, REAL ESTATE, MOTOR VEHICLE, MOTOR VEHICLE SUPPLEMENT AND PERSONAL PROPERTY. Signing up for e-billing also will add you to the email notification list for payment reminders.

The Tax Office will be closed Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 9am to 2pm for training. Payments can be made online or left in the dropbox during that time.

Dear Taxpayers,
Several offices have a lot of returned mail. We want to ensure our residents that they are receiving the following mailings:
1. Declaration paperwork from the assessor’s office
2. Sewer bills
3. Delinquents/Demands
4. Elderly & totally disabled installment reminders

* If you would like to receive your bills via email, with the exception of the sewer bills, please fill out e-billing online form, which can be found at www.townofprospect.gov/forms-permits/.

Thank you,

Dear Taxpayers,

We have had great success this year with our NEW e-billing program, which allows you to receive your bills via e-mail as well as having reminders sent via email to remind you your second installment is due.

We are opening this form again to our taxpayers to allow them to take advantage of this new program. If you have any question regarding the e-billing program please contact the Tax Collector's Office at 203-758-4461.
