ROAD CONSTRUCTION ALERT! Highway 2 construction between Midway Road and Highway 194 starts June 1.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting construction on Highway 2 between Midway Road and Highway 194 on Monday, June 1. This project will resurface 8.35 miles of Highway 2 and require Highway 2 to be detoured on Highway 194 to Midway Road. Through traffic will not be able to travel on Highway 2 starting on June 1.

Access will be maintained for businesses and residences via connecting side roads. The detour is expected to be in place through mid-September.

Today, the City of Proctor joins communities across the nation in honoring Peace Officer Memorial Day, a day dedicated to remembering and paying tribute to the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

We pause to recognize their courage, commitment, and service to protecting the lives and safety of others. Their dedication reflects the highest ideals of public service, and their legacy will never be forgotten.
