IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

There are a lot of emotions running through my house with my kids going to their first day of school! Lots of questions for the unknowns. Remind your kiddos to be the best that they can be! Be the start of something new!

For some, there is excitement and they can't wait to get on the school bus or out of mom or dads car.

For some, there is some nervousness, not knowing what's going to happen.

For some, there are tears and scared to leave home.

Every day, no matter their age, give your kiddos a hug and a kiss and tell them they are going to be awesome! Give them the confidence to be great!

As Dr. Suess would say, "You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!"

Go get 'em ISD 194!! Have a great FIRST day of school!

When I started my journey to be a part of the Lakeville School Board, I kept hearing about door knocking, not really knowing what to expect as I’ve never experienced it before!

Yesterday, my friends and family were out knocking doors for the first time! It was a great experience meeting so many people and listening to their concerns!

I’m a mom of 4 and my kids are students of ISD 194! I’m running to be your voice and to make sure we are putting kids first!

We will be out again soon!
