Marty is a Conservative running for Scott County Commissioner District 2. I intend to keep our district safe from urban sprawl and protect our way of life. I will support small businesses, farmers, and families that choose to live in a rural area and all that comes with it. My husband and I run 2 successful small businesses and a small family farm. I grew up working on our family farm in Iowa. I h
ave lived in MN for the past 20 years and we have owned our farm for 11 years. I have never felt more at home than here. I am hard working; I have held a job aside from the farm every day since I was 15. I have served on non-profit boards for 20+ years in roles of Director, VP, and President. In my business, I deal with budgets, payroll, staffing, negotiations, and human resources. I believe government should be ran like a business and it can't keep going back to the taxpayers for bigger investments.
