Wow! The past two weeks have been something. Over a foot of snow and freezing temperatures have kept us from having our activities. Hopefully next week will bring some warmer temperatures so we can get out and play. Springtime will be here in no time. We have many events planned for our residents in March.
The Supper Club is our biggest event. Hyacinth Village dates will be March 3, 10, and 17th. Hillview Court will be March 5, 12, and 26th. We will begin at 4:30 and finish around 5:30. Joni, from the Caldwell County Extension Office, will demonstrate a crock pot meal, complete with food safety, and menu planning. We will then have a meal together, complete with beverage and dessert.
Each week you will go home with a door prize and wonderful information.
Please sign up to participate by March 2nd. If you have signed up and come to ALL three nights, you will be entered into a drawing for a Crock Pot. This event is open to all H.A.P. residents.
Our Community Fellowship Day will be March 11, 10:00 in the Hillview Activity Room. We will work on our blankets to complete our mission to put a blanket in every city police vehicle. The blankets will be used to comfort a child in a scary situation.
We have many other activities planned, including a Spring Drive day trip on March 31st. Please check your calendars for details.
