Today's Juneteenth event in Bluefield's Chicory Square was a wonderful day of celebration, inspiration and reflection. We, Mercer County Democratic Party members who attended today were honored to have had the opportunity. The speeches and music were inspiring and thought provoking. The entertainment exceptional. I cannot get enough of that Drum Line! 💙🩵💙

Hi Everyone! We are excited to once again be hosting our Mercer County Dems & Candidates tents at the "CELEBRATE PRINCETON" event this Saturday! We will be located in front of the Princeton Public Library. Please stop by to pick up a pocket constitution, some political swag like a candidate yard sign, buttons, etc... meet some of your Democratic candidates or register to vote! This is a great day to shake off the news, listen to music, meet your neighbors and CELEBRATE PRINCETON!

On this solemn day, it is with great gratitude, that we remember those women and men who sacrificed all, while protecting our freedoms. At 3:00 pm, this Memorial Day, please respectfully, take time to reflect, with a moment of silence, as we honor those fallen U.S. soldiers. "May we never forget, FREEDOM is not free".

The Mercer County Democratic Executive Committee (MCDEC) would like to welcome the newest members to join: Jaden Robertson & Treyvon Simmons!

And congratulations to returning members! The MCDEC has 2 vacancies we are looking to fill. If you are interested in serving. Please get in touch with either Randa Faulkner or Kim Felix at [email protected]. We will also be electing officers at this meeting.

The vacancies are in District 2 (1 female or non-binary vacancy) & District 3 (1 male or non-binary vacancy). If you want to make a difference and participate in democracy in action, this is an awesome way to get involved!

Our next meeting is at our HQ at 316 Thorn St., Princeton (across from Raleigh Tile). The meeting starts at 18:30 on Monday, June 15th. We hope to see you there.
