🎉 Community, Culture, and Connections! 🎉

The Princeton Police Department along with the Princeton Human Services teamed up to host an incredible Lotería game for our amazing residents! 🕵️‍♂️🤝✨

It was a morning filled with laughter, friendly competition, and building meaningful bridges within our community. Not only did everyone learn how to play this traditional Mexican bingo game, but our residents also expanded their vocabulary by learning some fantastic new Spanish words along the way. ¡Qué bien! 🗣️

A huge congratulations to all our winners! Players walked away with some truly special prizes, including authentic souvenirs brought straight from Guadalajara! 🎁✈️

We were also honored to have some very special guests join us! A huge thank you to Councilwoman Leticia Fraga and Councilman Leighton Newlin for being there and helping read out the cards to keep the game exciting! 🎙️🃏

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared a laugh, and made the event so memorable. We love finding fun ways to bring our community together, and we are already looking forward to the next one!

The Princeton Police Department partnered with Littlebrook School and Greater Mercer TMA for Bike Safety Presentations, helping students learn important tips like stopping, looking, listening, obeying signs, and riding safely. Thank you to Greater Mercer TA and Littlebrook School for working with us to help keep our young riders safe and supported.

This Memorial Day, the Princeton Police Department honors and remembers the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Today, we reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy each day. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor the heroes who gave everything for our country.

From all of us at the Princeton Police Department, we thank our fallen service members and their families for their extraordinary sacrifice.🖤

The Princeton Police Department's Community Relations Bureau (CRB) partnered with the Hun School of Princeton for a hands-on mock investigation experience.

Students stepped into the roles of patrol officers as they worked through a simulated crime scene from start to finish.

The goal was to give students a real look into the teamwork and effort involved in police investigations.

💙🚓 This past weekend, members of the Princeton Police Department were honored to attend the First Responder Appreciation Breakfast hosted by the Princeton Jewish Center.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Rabbi Andi Merow, Executive Director Joel Berger, President Lew Gantwerk, and the entire Princeton Jewish Center community for their incredible hospitality, kindness, and unwavering support of first responders.

Events like this are a powerful reminder that public safety is built on relationships, trust, and community partnership. 🤝✨

Save the date for a Pancake Breakfast with the Princeton Police Department at the Yankee Doodle Tap Room inside the Nassau Inn on Saturday, May 30th! 🥞👮

Afterwards, gather at Palmer Square and bring the little ones for Storytime on the Green from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our 2026 Wheels Rodeo! Riders received free bicycle inspections, free helmet fitting checks, and had the opportunity to ride through an awesome obstacle course built by the Greater Mercer TMA team.

Officers were happy to step behind the grill, flip burgers and hot dogs, and serve up some delicious food for participants. The Princeton Police Department also gave away one bicycle and one Community Park Pool Summer 2026 membership to our lucky winners! 🎉🚲🏊

Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success. We look forward to seeing you around town and hopefully doing it all again next year!

🐾 FOUND DOG - GRIGGS DRIVE AREA

A dog was located today by a resident in the area of Griggs Drive. The dog was found and turned over to our department without a tag or any identifying information.

We want to get this sweet pup back to its family as soon as possible!

On Friday, May 15, 2026 at 0500 hours, the Princeton Police Department will be conducting routine maintenance on its phone system, which may result in the phone system being down for approximately 15 minutes. During that time, the 9-1-1 system will remain operational. If you need to reach the Princeton Police Department via the non-emergency phone line, and are unable to reach PPD Dispatch, please call 609-955-6000.

🚴‍♂️🇺🇸💙 This week, during National Police Week, Princeton Police Officers Chris King and Shahid Abdul Karim successfully completed the Police Unity Tour. Over the course of four days, the officers rode their bicycles more than 300 miles from central New Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C., where they joined hundreds of law enforcement officers from across the country in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. 🇺🇸🚔

The Police Unity Tour serves as a powerful reminder that the fallen are never forgotten, and that their service and sacrifice continue to inspire law enforcement officers nationwide. Participating in this event requires tremendous dedication, perseverance, and commitment - all qualities proudly displayed by Officers King and Abdul Karim throughout this journey. 💪🚴‍♂️💙

👏 Congratulations to both officers on this outstanding accomplishment. Thank you for representing the Princeton Police Department in such a professional and honorable manner, while paying tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to their communities.
