Riecken Community Libraries Riecken Community Libraries provide access to information in remote, rural and marginalized communities of Guatemala and Honduras.

Each library - open and free to all - provides books, computers, training, and dynamic programs focused on literacy skills. To change the world, you must be able to envision the future. Riecken libraries promote literacy for all ages, a love of reading and the understanding of new technologies. But they do much more: They open the doors to innovation and imagination. That, in turn, has sparked new

and unexpected opportunities in Riecken communities. Currently there are over 60 libraries in Guatemala and Honduras.

🎉 A new dream opens its doors in the community.

In Las Delicias, San Marcos, Choluteca, the Abriendo Caminos Community Library begins its journey as a space filled with hope, learning, and opportunities for everyone. On March 20, more than a building was inaugurated—it became a place where children, youth, and adults can come together, grow, and build a better future. 🌱✨

This achievement is possible thanks to the commitment of the community, the support of the Riecken Foundation, the involvement of the municipality, and the valuable contribution of Fundación Napoleón J. Larach. 🤝
