Kitten season is here and we will be having several cats and kittens available foradoption coming soon. With that being said, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of our rules for adopting, so please read carefully before contacting us. Thank you

Adoption rules:
All adopters must be 21 year of age or older to adopt and sign our adoption forms.
All pets already in the household must be spayed or neutered and up to date with rabies vaccine.
Adopters are responsible for getting adopted pets spayed or neutered and vaccinated if not already done.
I as an animal control officer, reserve the right to choose what I feel is the right forever home for each animal. Through a meet and greet session and thorough interview process. Dispite who messages or responds first.
When we posts new pets for adoption, please keep in mind that calling or stopping by in person is highly recommended. I am sometimes very busy and do not often get the chance to read or respond to Facebook comments or messages.
Please remember adopting a pet is a life long commitment, so when you sign our adoption form you agree to love, care for and attend to all vetting needs for that pet throughout its many years of life. They become a part of your family!
For any other questions or concerns before adopting, please call us 815-875-1150
Thank you for choosing adoption! 🐶🐱🐾

Balto here with a Public Service Announcement.

With the warmer temperatures in the near future make sure to not be leaving your 4 legged friends in your vehicles. On a 70 degree day the temperature inside a vehicle can reach up to 104 degrees within 30 minutes. Us animals don’t sweat like people do and panting isn’t always sufficient to cool us down. Even cracking windows doesn’t help.

Luckily I have a sweet set up with constant air conditioning, 2 fans, and a heat monitoring system for when my dad has to handle calls. Please keep your furry friends safe!!! Balto out.

ADOPTED!!!

MEET SCRAPPY!!! He was an owner relinquished do to personal reasons, no fault of his own. Here’s what we know, he is a 5 year old male. Seems to do well in a kennel and potty trained. Other dog and cat friendly to be determined. Leash trained and knows how to sit and lay down among a few other things on command. Takes treats nicely, a little sassy and likes to bark. He is said to be a Chihuahua mix. But I see more beagle/dachshund so who knows. He is only about 15 pounds. Call 815-875-1150 or stop in 1118 N. Church Street to meet him!

SHE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

ANNIE: This sweet girl is looking for a new life full of adventure! She is a 1-3 year old spayed female husky mix. All up to date with her distemper and rabies vaccines. She may start off a little shy at first, but warms up quickly to her typical fun loving, sassy husky self. She hasn’t met a new dog friend she doesn’t immediately become best friends with and seems to enjoy having a playful companion. She is kennel trained and walks very well on a leash. She would love a good amount of daily exercise. Stop in and meet her today at 1118 N. Church Street in Princeton or call 815-875-1150 for more info or to make a meet and greet date!

HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

BRODIE: This beautiful boy is looking for his new home and family! He is the perfect boy for families, new adventures or just a strut around the block and cuddle on the couch. He’s a big teddy bear. We are unsure of his age, but my guess would be about 4-6years but he acts like he is only 2-3. He is super sweet and loves all people. Good with other dogs, just gets over excited to meet new friends. Not so good with cats. But loves his stuffed and fluffy toys! He would make a great addition to your family for the summer! Give him a second chance ❤️🐾
Call us 815-875-1150 or stop in at 1118 N. Church St. Princeton to meet him today!

This is Brodie, he loves people, he loves other dogs, he loves to be outside and play, but most of all he loves his stuffies! He is a cuddle bug, that’s full of life and energy and he would love to be a part of your family! Please share, or stop in to meet him any day this week!
