🐾 Trudi Rast – Career Development Coordinator & Special Populations Coordinator

Mrs. Rast is a wonderful example of what it means to be a team player! Since stepping into her new role, she has approached every challenge with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dedication to our students and staff. She has worked closely with both school and district staff to learn her new responsibilities and ensure she is providing the very best support possible. We are grateful for the energy, collaboration, and positivity she brings to our school each day!

🐾 Shelley Gardner – Data Manager

Mrs. Gardner is truly deserving of this recognition for her dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to Princeton Middle/High School. She worked extra hours to ensure our school schedules were accurate and ready for the start of the school year. She also went above and beyond by assisting with summer deadlines and countless tasks behind the scenes. Her hard work and reliability help our school run smoothly, and we appreciate all that she does!

🎓 Sophomores & Juniors — Don’t Miss the PSAT/NMSQT!

The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered during the regular school day at Princeton High School on October 7, 2026.

⭐ Juniors: Your PSAT/NMSQT score could qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship Program and other scholarship opportunities.

📚 Sophomores: Taking the PSAT is a great way to prepare for the SAT by becoming familiar with the test format, timing, and question types. You will also receive valuable feedback to help identify your academic strengths and areas for growth.

Register on or by September 30th. Make payment on the Online School Payment System.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to prepare for your future! to attend the first meeting. All 10th and 11th graders received letters this week with more information.

We will hear from representatives of NC’s top merit scholarships-including Park, Levine, Brinkley-Lane, Cheatham-White, and more-plus explore NC College Connect direct admissions and practical strategies for finding money for college.

⏰ Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Optional hands-on NC College Connect work session 7:30–8:00 PM for seniors—bring your device!)

A huge THANK YOU to all of our students, staff, parents, and school community for helping make the first day of school such a wonderful success! We are so excited for the year ahead and all the learning, growth, and memories to come.
