This camp will be instructed by Prince George High School Varsity and Junior Varsity girls’ basketball coaching staff. Prince George Parks & Recreation is currently accepting registration for our two newest fitness classes - Cardio Groove Class and Fit with H.I.I.T.

Cardio Groove is a fitness class with aerobic moves and dance grooves to upbeat, motivational, inspiring, and fun music! Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM for 5 weeks beginning July 13, 2026. The last class of this session will be August 10, 2026.

Fit with H.I.I.T is a High Intensity Interval Class that is a full body workout structured to improve strength, agility, and cardiovascular fitness. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM for 5 weeks beginning July 7, 2026. The last class of this session will be August 4, 2026.

Both fitness classes will be held at the Prince George Community Center (11100 Old Stage Road Prince George, VA 23875). Registration is available until July 10, 2026, at 5 PM (unless filled) for Cardio Groove and July 6, 2026 at 5 PM (unless filled) for Fit with H.I.I.T. The cost is $25 per participant for each new class. Each class is limited to 25 participants. Prince George Parks and Recreation is accepting Youth Fall Soccer registration through June 26, 2026 at 5 PM. Beginning with Fall Soccer 2026, and moving forward, the age determination date has been changed to July 31. The age the registered child is (or will be) on July 31 is the age determination for the division in which they will play. This rule change aligns with US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and AYSO, which has moved to a school-year based age group, as opposed to calendar year. All participants must be at least 4 years of age and not reached 19 years of age on or before July 31, 2026.

The registration fee is $30 for one child, $50 for two children, $70 for three children, and $10 for each additional child beyond three, within the same family. Registration is available at the Prince George Parks and Recreation office (11100 Old Stage Road, Prince George, VA 23875) or on-line at www.princegeorgecountyva.gov/onlineregistration . Registration is for Prince George County residents only. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required for all first time sign-ups, and for those not previously submitted.

Due to the concurrent playing schedule for both football/cheer and soccer, participants may only sign up for one activity.

Calling all curious young scientists! Join us for an exciting adventure into the world of chemistry, where every day is filled with experiments, discovery, and fun! This science program is designed especially for kids aged 8 – 12 to explore science through interactive, hands-on activities, with a mix of classic experiments and some spectacular surprises. This program will spark curiosity and help young chemists learn about the amazing reactions that make up our world. Students will use chemistry to determine if something is an acid or a base, turn an egg into “rubber”, and experience a chemical reaction that produces a foamy eruption that looks like toothpaste big enough for an elephant!

Super Science Sleuths will be held July 13 – 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Prince George Parks & Recreation Community Center (11100 Old Stage Rd., Prince George, VA 23875).

Registration is available until June 26, 2026, at 5 PM. Register in-person at Parks and Recreation Office or on-line at www.princegeorgecountyva.gov/onlineregistration . The fee is $65 per participant and is limited to (14) participants.

Prince George Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a three-day soccer camp for youth aged 5 – 18. This camp will be instructed by PG Extreme Soccer and local high school soccer coaches. The camp will be held at Scott Memorial Park Soccer Complex (6680 Courthouse Rd., Prince George, VA 23875) July 20 – 22, 2026, from 6 PM – 8 PM. Participants will take part in partnered fundamental drills, offensive and defensive drills, and scrimmages. The fee is $45 per participant.

Prince George Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a one-day volleyball clinic for boys and girls who are rising 6th – rising 12th graders. This clinic will be instructed by Prince George High School Varsity and JV Volleyball Coach Staff. Coaches will be teaching proper techniques of spiking, blocking, digging, and team play. The clinic will be held at Prince George High School Gym (7801 Laurel Spring Rd., Prince George, VA 23875) July 20, 2026, from 9 AM – 1 PM. The fee is $35 per participant.
