πŸΊπŸ” History came to life for students in our Summer Enrichment Adventures in Archaeology course this week!

On Thursday, students visited the Prince George Regional Heritage Center, where they had the opportunity to explore artifacts discovered throughout Prince George County and the surrounding region, including items recovered from the nearby James River.

Through hands-on experiences and interactive learning, students gained a deeper understanding of the people, places, and events that helped shape our community.

Students also learned about the life and legacy of Richard Bland, the namesake of our local two-year college, and explored his connection to the history of Prince George County.
