On Friday, August 28th, the Prince George Varsity Royals hosted Glen Allen for an exciting season opener.

The energy from our fans was outstanding throughout the entire game. Despite a thrilling, high-scoring performance, the Royals came up just short in the fourth quarter, dropping a tough 36-48 decision to Glen Allen.

But the season is just getting started! TONIGHT (9/3), your Royals are back under the home lights to take on J.R. Tucker. Pack the stands, bring your loudest Royal spirit, and let’s secure this win together!

On Saturday, members of the senior class continued the new tradition of painting their parking spots at PGHS! It was a day filled with fun, creativity, and plenty of school spirit.

Students brought their personalities and artistic talents to life, creating some amazing designs. We’re already looking forward to the second scheduled painting day on September 14th and can’t wait to see even more of our seniors get creative and make their mark!

👏🎉 CONGRATULATIONS are in order for one of our Royals at Prince George High School as junior Jackson McPeak was recently honored by our school board after earning his Eagle Scout award this summer!

Alongside his strong leadership and dedication to his troop and community, Jackson's Eagle Scout project benefits the students at L.L. Beazley Elementary School, having supervised a small team to design and construct five mobile flower beds for use by the school's science classes, allowing students to actively follow the five main stages of a plant's life cycle while covering the subject in science class.

🇺🇸🪂 A SKY-HIGH SALUTE! Friday night at Prince George High School was a powerful celebration of service, sacrifice and patriotism during Military Appreciation Night.

The U.S. Army’s Golden Knights helped make the evening truly unforgettable with a spectacular skydiving performance before kickoff. As the Knights descended onto the field, the crowd looked to the sky in appreciation, not only for an incredible display, but for the service and dedication represented by those who wear the uniform.
