The Primera Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is seeking developers for prime commercial property in Primera, Texas. Towards that effort the PEDC can offer incentives to those enterprises that can assist it with job creation and sales/property tax growth. Incentives such as loans, grants and possible tax abatements may be offered to the right business development.

An existing privately owned industrial park with utilities is ready for the development of light manufacturing, warehousing and other commercial businesses.

You may have noticed a few new signs around the City of Primera. It's one of the first things I (Chuck Navarro) wanted to put in when I became commissioner. I wanted to help give our city an identity. They we're paid for by the Primera EDC and approved by the city commissioners. This is just the beginning. There is a new park and a hike and bike trail on the way later this year and next year. City of Progress indeed! Thank you to our city workers and citizens for making this happen.
