Please remember our squad family in your prayers. Mike was a dedicated member who even after leaving the squad returned to help with the radio auction.

Michael Edward Terry, 62, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family.

Born on April 7, 1964, in Bucyrus, Ohio, Michael was the son of the late William and Martha Terry. He graduated from Prestonsburg High School and built a successful career with Big Lots, where his dedication and hard work led him to department management.

Michael's greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband whose kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew him. He also had a special bond with his beloved dog, Charlie, who brought him endless happiness and companionship.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Ramona Sizemore Terry; his sister, Dewanna Gillespie (Dan); his sister-in-law, Tammy Lance (James); his niece, Stacia Lance Gambrell (Joshua); his nephews, Drew Lance (Megan), and Wesley Gillespie; and his lifelong childhood friends, Barry Potter, Brian Sexton, and Chip Salyers, whose friendships remained a treasured part of his life.

Anyone who knew Michael will forever remember his familiar phrase, "Let's go racing," a reflection of his enthusiasm for life and the joy he found in sharing his passions with those around him.

Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and continue to inspire the lives he touched.

A memorial service celebrating Michael's life will be announced at a future date.

Good afternoon. We hate when weather doesn't cooperate and unfortunately the rain that looked like it would hit us didn't, two different times this week storms went north and south of us. On top of that we have experienced dry conditions which haven't left us with enough water to properly train or assess skills necessary for potential tech candidates. Please accept our apologies for having to cancel the May class, we will be in touch with you via email soon.
