Brittainy Branham Prestonsburg City Council Re-Elect Brittainy Branham for City Council I believe the council needs fresh perspective and a new voice that represents the upcoming generation.

I grew up here, and have seen this community evolve over the past 31 years. Prestonsburg needs to focus on economic development and planning for growth. As Prestonsburg continues to grow, we need to make sure the money stays in our city. We should be proactively looking to expand in the area of retail, small business, entertainment and hospitality. We need to better promote ourselves for economic development. Prestonsburg has a lot to offer with our people, community and natural resources. There is no reason why we canโ€™t be a destination for businesses and tourism. My goal is to ensure the rich traditions of Prestonsburg continue, while ensuring we are on the right track for the future. We need to make sure our children have a community they can be proud to call their hometown.

Air Evac Lifeteam Agreement Renewed

Tonight, the Prestonsburg City Council voted to renew the Cityโ€™s annual agreement with Air Evac Lifeteam.

This means residents living within the Prestonsburg city limits continue to be covered by this benefit in the event that an emergency air medical transport is needed and medically necessary.
