Shortly before 5pm last night the Preston VFC was alerted for a working house fire in the first due. With a total staffing of 18 we responded with our Engine-Tanker 201 (7), Tanker 202 (2), Rescue 200 (4), Chief 2 (2), utility 200 (3). Crews arrived on scene with fire and smoke showing from a single family house. Fire Chief 215 (D. Wielgosz) established command and crews worked aggressively to attack the fire with the help and assistance from multiple mutual Aid companies.
