We recently had the opportunity to visit our Chamber member The Tamaracks and tour their two beautiful rental cabins, Fen and Larch—and what a hidden gem right here in Aroostook County!

Owners Adam and Amanda created The Tamaracks as a way to share their love of Northern Maine with others. Both raised in Aroostook County, they returned home to raise their family and have created these beautiful cabins with so much thought, craftsmanship, and care.

From the locally inspired names to the rough-sawn timbers harvested right from the property, every detail connects guests to the beauty of the County.

A Special Ribbon Cutting in Washburn

We were honored to take part in a ribbon cutting celebrating the Washburn Vietnam Soldier Statue, along with the new flag poles and beautiful flower garden.

It was wonderful to join the community in recognizing this meaningful addition to Washburn and honoring those who served our country. ❤️🤍💙
