💜 June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month 💜

Every older adult deserves to live with dignity, respect, and safety.

Elder abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse, as well as neglect and exploitation. Sadly, many cases go unreported, leaving older adults isolated and vulnerable.

This month, we encourage our community to learn the warning signs, check in on older loved ones and neighbors, and help raise awareness about this important issue. Together, we can create a community where older adults are valued, supported, and protected.

We would like to thank Caribou Community School for another productive, insightful and, thought provoking school year with us. Recently Grades 7 and 6 completed an activity exploring their beliefs and values. They identified behaviors of what they would want in a dating relationship and what they would not want.
