DID YOU KNOW 4-H HAS A HORSE PROJECT?! 🐎

If your child loves horses, the Pierce County 4-H Horse Project is an amazing opportunity to learn, build confidence, and develop a special partnership with a horse!

The Horse Project is about so much more than riding. Youth learn hands-on about horse care, safety, training, riding, and responsibility while spending time with these incredible animals.

🌟 WHAT CAN YOU LEARN?
🐴 Horse care and daily responsibilities
🧹 Grooming, feeding, and proper care
🏇 Riding skills and horsemanship
🐎 Horse behavior and communication
🪮 Tack and equipment
🛡️ Horse and rider safety
🏆 Showing and preparing for the county fair
💚 Responsibility, patience, confidence, and teamwork

🌟 4-H’s motto is “LEARN BY DOING!”

And the Horse Project is a perfect example of that! Youth don’t just learn about horses from a book — they get hands-on experience grooming, caring for, handling, riding, and working with their horse.

Whether your child is an experienced rider or just beginning to discover a love for horses, 4-H provides opportunities to learn new skills, set goals, overcome challenges, and grow as a rider and as a person.

DID YOU KNOW 4-H HAS A DOG PROJECT?! 🐾

If your child loves dogs, the Pierce County 4-H Dog Project is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun with their four-legged friend!

The 4-H Dog Project is about so much more than teaching a dog to sit and stay. It’s an opportunity for youth to learn by doing while building a stronger relationship with their dog and developing valuable skills along the way.

🐾 WHAT CAN YOU LEARN?
✨ Dog care and responsibility
✨ Grooming and health
✨ Dog behavior and communication
✨ Obedience and training
✨ Handling skills
✨ Safety around dogs
✨ Showing and preparing for the county fair

✍️ Registration is opening soon for Fall Forum 2026, held from November 6-8, 2026 in Stevens Point, WI!

🍁 At Fall Forum, participants can look forward to:
- An inspiring keynote address
-Opportunities to participate in dozens of youth- and adult-led workshops
- Choose-your-own-adventure interactive activities
- Reflection on the weekend and future goal setting

DID YOU KNOW 4-H HAS STEM PROJECTS?! 🚀⚙️

4-H isn’t just about animals and the county fair! Kids can explore Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) through hands-on projects that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

🌟 The 4-H motto is “Learn by Doing!” 🌟

That’s what makes 4-H so special. Kids aren’t just sitting in a classroom listening or reading about something — they get to roll up their sleeves, try it themselves, experiment, build, create, make mistakes, solve problems, and learn from the experience!

🧪 SCIENCE — Conduct experiments and discover the science behind how things work.

🤖 TECHNOLOGY — Explore computers, coding, robotics, electronics, and technology.

🔧 ENGINEERING — Design, build, test, and improve projects. Take an idea and turn it into something REAL!

📐 MATH — Use math in practical ways through measuring, designing, collecting data, and solving challenges.

💡 STEM + 4-H = HANDS-ON LEARNING!

Kids get the opportunity to:
