What an exciting time that was had by all at our 3rd Annual Steps for Vets Prescott event! We'd like to thank Blushing Cactus Photography for capturing this family fun event. U.S.VETS- Prescott is excited to announce, we just successfully completed our 3rd annual Steps for Vets Run, Walk, Roll event! The support from this great community was exceptional. We had over 179 participants lace up their shoes and hit the trail for a great cause. We'd like to thank our sponsors who helped make this event possible. We're also excited to announce that in the next few days we'll be receiving & then posting PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHS taken by none other than Blushing Cactus Photography-so stayed tune and keep your eyes peeled. U.S.VETS- Prescott was honored to have Arizona Department of Veterans' Services Director John Scott II and the BeConnected team to facilitate a focus group with our veterans. The time, consideration, dedication and care Director Scott and the BeConnected team took to listen and engage with our veterans was amazing! They will take our veteran's stories and concerns and continue to design support systems for veterans. We can't thank you enough for all the dedication you have shown our veterans!

U.S.VETS Prescott was proud to tour Senator Mark Kelly's staff at our Liberty Pointe and Ft. Whipple housing facilities this week. We'd like to thank them for taking the time out of their busy schedule to connect with U.S.VETS and our veterans. Senator Kelly, being a retired NASA astronaut and U.S. Navy combat pilot, it's important to his office that they provide the support needed to help serve those who served.

Over the past week, U.S.VETS- Prescott is proud to have had two ribbon cutting ceremonies for U.S.VETS' new Veteran Connection Hub in Prescott Valley and Cottonwood. Our goal is to utilize these programs to reach out to veterans throughout the community providing resources, support and community!
We were honored to have distinguished dignitaries and community supporters at the Prescott Valley HUB-Prescott Valley Mayor Kell Palguta, U.S. Representative for Arizona’s Second Congressional District Eli Crane's representative, Jeff Timms, Prescott Valley Police Chief Bob Ticer, P.V. Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce President Steve Bracety, Patrick Kuykendall, Business Services Representative for the State of Arizona and U.S.VETS Advisory Council member and U.S.VETS CEO, Darryl Vincent.
At our Cotttonwood Veteran Connection Hub satellite office ribbon cutting ceremony, we had esteemed dignitaries Cottonwood Mayor Ann Shaw, Greater Verde Valley Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Christian Oliva del Rio, Police Chief Brian Patrick Freudenthal and an incredible supportive community!
