Nevada County Courthouse will remain closed Friday, January 30th.
I will be taking calls from home. If anyone needs anything, I can try to assist the best I can. State offices are also remaining closed. 1-870-887-3115.

District Court in Nevada County has been cancelled for Wednesday, January 28th. It has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 11th @ 1:00.

In the event that we do receive the severe winter weather ❄️ 🧊 that they are anticipating for our area, we will be asking for help from our local community members. At this time, we are just working on a “Diaster Plan” should we need to implement it. Some things that could be helpful as a volunteer could be, but are not limited to any of the following attributes:

• A 4WD vehicle to assist with transporting ESSENTIAL WORKERS to and from work. 🛻
• Volunteers to man warming stations throughout the county.
• Food Distribution 🥘 🍲 🥣
• Medical Professionals locally as a back up in an emergent situation.

Should you feel led to be a volunteer, there will be sign up sheets located at the following places:

• Nevada County Jail
• Emmet City Hall
• The Falcon Hub

Please know this information will only be used or shared should we need to implement our “Disaster Plan”.
