Cub Scouting is a program of the Boy Scouts of America, providing age-appropriate opportunities for learning and service designed to prepare boys age 7 to 11, or 1st through 5th grades, to advance into the Boy Scouting program. The Cub Scout program is delivered through development based levels. Pack 330 is charted by Boy Scouts of America, and belongs to the Grand Canyon Council (northern Arizona
), and the Old Capitol District (quad-city area). We are chartered to, and derive our Pack number from Elk's Lodge 330 in Prescott Valley. Pack meeting are held at the Elk's Lodge on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month @ 6:30pm (August through May). Our pack is organized into age/grade specific Dens, each of which meets on its own 2-3 times a month in addition to the monthly Pack Meeting. At these den meetings boys work on advancement requirements, and attend "Go See" field trips. The age/grade ranks are, Tigers for first grade or 7 year old boys. The Wolf program is for boys in second grade or 8 year old boys, and the Bear program is for boys in the third grade, or 9 years old. Webelos Scouting is the final step of the Cub Scout program, and is designed for 4th and 5th grade boys. All scouts, regardless of age, will however complete basic Scouting requirements (learn the scout oath, scout law, etc.)
