Thursday - Summer Learning Program Recap at the Prentiss Public Library today! The kids had fun with Ms. LaTanya Ramsey, digging for 🦖dinosaur surprizes and plus they enjoyed a snack after their hard work😛 . Thanks to MSU Jeff Davis County Extension Agent, LaTanya Ramsey for the fun presentation. Join us next week for the Central MS 🐢Turtle Rescue on Tuesday, at 10:30 at the Prentiss Public Library and after lunch at 1:00 at the Bassfield Public Library! And bring in your reading logs, we still have lots of great prizes in the prize store for the Summer Reading Challenge 👏!

Come play and design your LEGO Dino-rama and you just might become a LEGO yourself! Thanks to the family that dropped by for LEGOs at the Prentiss Public library today from 2-?! They had so much fun they forgot the time! This Thursday, MSU Extension's LaTanya Ramsey, will have a dinosaur dig for the kids and a snack, from 2-3. Hope you will be there!

🦖⚒️Summer Learning Programs, Unearth a Story Reading Challenge, Dino-mite STEM activities at Prentiss Public Library! Kids had so much fun: 🦕Excavating for dinosaurs (paleontology) 🦖Slime (non-newtonian fluids)
🙃Fizzy dinos (chemical reactions)
👀Tissue paper art (capillary action)

The Summer Reading Challenge is going on now at the Prentiss and Bassfield Public Libraries. Kids can "unearth a story" and fill up their reading logs for library bucks to buy goodies in the prize store! Be sure to follow us on facebook for upcoming learning programs too! Kids get a bonus buck for attending and can use them in the prize store! Stop by soon, the Summer Reading Challenge ends in July!

T-Rex Recap 🦖! The Summer Reading Program got off to an Awe-SOME-saurus start with the Dinosaur experience on Thursday, May 28th at the JDC Academic Success Center in Carson, MS. Hurry in and pick-up your reading logs for the Summer Reading Challenge at the Bassfield or Prentiss Public Libraries. Read 15 books and get $15 library bucks for the prize store plus a free book when the sheet is filled up. We also have fun programs to participate in; parents please check out our calendar and save the dates 🦕!
