In case you haven't heard, this morning at 10am is the statewide tornado drill. Take a few minutes and consider what your sheltering options would be while you are at home, working, or traveling.

Vaccine Update 1/21/2021

Pratt County, Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt Internal Medicine Group and Pratt Family Practice are all working together on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine as it becomes available.

Today we were able to vaccinate 350 people within 4 hours!
We are finishing up Phase 1 and starting in Phase 2.

We are currently out of COVID-19 vaccine. Once we receive our next allocation of vaccine, we will again start calling people who are signed up through the COVID-19 survey to schedule an appointment. We do not know when our next allocation is coming. We will provide updates as they become available.

If you are interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, please fill out a survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/T2J2V9R

Well stated Honolulu EMS. Happy EMS week!

Unless you’ve sat where this paramedic has sat, it’s hard to know what all goes on inside the confined space of an ambulance. It’s because we rarely get to see into this world that is unfamiliar to so many. It is a space often filled with the sound of sadness whether that of sobbing or screaming. It is a space that sees blood and broken bones. A space that feels life slowly fading away but still holds hope. But amongst the pain, a passion, to pursue all avenues to keep those dying, alive. A persistence to maintain a beating heart while treating the broken hearts of the loved ones left behind. It wasn’t for a job, no you don’t join EMS for a job. For those who wear the EMS patch on their sleeve, it’s a commitment to give your all on every call no matter how great or how small. To the PARAMEDICS and EMTs across the world, who serve us all, we will never know all that you see, but this week and always, we hope you hear this - thank you for all that you do. Happy National EMS Week!
