Mrs. Jodi consistently steps up to the plate and goes above and beyond to make sure our little Pirates are learning and growing every day. She leads with compassion, dedication, and a positive attitude that makes a difference in the lives of her students and our entire campus.

🐻🍯 Counting Our Way to the Honey! 🍯🐻
Our kindergarteners in Ms. Jessica’s class are having so much fun building their counting skills through play! Today, students helped their little bears follow the paw-print path to reach the honey. 🐾
As they moved their bears along the path, they practiced counting with one-to-one correspondence, number sequencing, and taking turns—all while learning through play!

Meet Our New Assistant Principal! ️

Please help us give a warm Pirate welcome to our new Assistant Principal, Dr. Bridget Lemoine!

While Dr. Lemoine is new to the primary world, she is certainly not new to Ascension Parish or educational leadership! Dr. Lemoine has proudly served Ascension Parish since 2001, beginning her journey in the classroom as a teacher at Prairieville Middle School. She has served on the leadership team at 4 middle schools in Ascension Parish and for the past two years, she served as Assistant Principal at Gonzales Middle School.

You may spot Dr. Lemoine around campus with a smile and a wave, especially in the car rider line!

Dr. Lemoine is a self-proclaimed nerd , a lifelong learner, and, most importantly, someone who absolutely LOVES children. Dr. Lemoine along with her husband, Neil, are the proud parents of six children, and their youngest is a senior at Dutchtown High School this year. She also recently earned a very special new title: BiBi to her first granddaughter!

Dr. Lemoine is incredibly excited to join the Galvez Primary Pirate family! Her passion is helping children learn, grow, and become the very best versions of themselves.
