Congratulations to all the graduates this weekend, but especially to our very own Brendan Marcotte! Brendan has been awarded the Brad Mallett Scholarship from the Pownal Fire Company and will attend SMCC next year to study Fire Science. He will also be a live-in student at the Gorham Fire Department. Congrats Brendan!

As we close out EMS Week, we want to give a special shoutout to our EMTs! Although the smallest group in our department at 11 members, their impact is immeasurable. Our EMTs respond to medical emergencies, car crashes, fires, wilderness rescues, and any other call where people need help. Several of our members got their EMT license while in school or working full time, which is no small feat!
