I want to thank everyone, who supported me and helped me during election day. I meet a lot of people during my campaign, that are friends now. I didn't win but I want to thank you all for the support.
Please start attending meetings and stay involved. Make your voices heard. I love living in Powhatan, don't let them destroy this beautiful county.

District 2 voters, please get out an vote Nov 7. Vote to protect the Powhatan, you know and love. This happened April 25. Moseley residents are dealing with not only noise issues but they have contractors dumping sludge on this site. The district 2 supervisor supports these actions.

Last night bos was disappointing as usual. 37 more acres will become commercial on rt.60. 3 supervisors voted in favor of this motion. These 3 supervisors seem to think the only way to get tax relief is go commercial. When you run as a Fiscal conservative but yet you don't look for ways to save taxpayers money, you're not really a Fiscal conservative. Stop the wasteful spending. Don't Chesterfield our Powhatan!

Hi District 2 voters, my name is Bill Hough. I'm running for supervisor for many reasons.
1. Tax dollars are not being spent wisely and the board continues to approve the budget year after year. In the last 4 years, the county budget has gone up over 40%.
2. Don't Chesterfield our Powhatan. The current bos, doesn't even have a tentative plan for water/sewer along rt.60. They pick and choose, who they want to hook up to water/sewer. While the taxpayers get fleeced.
3. The current board has embarrassed the residents of Powhatan the last 4 years. The so called dream team has had opportunities to move Powhatan forward but instead chose to give an incompetent county administrator a contract extension and pay raise. Let's not forget the legal fees we the taxpayers were stuck with.
4. If elected, I will work with other board members to keep our taxes in check and help keep the rural character, that we love.
