Construction on the Lechler Building Renovation project is expected to begin shortly.

The project will modernize the City's Public Service garage facility on Murphy Parkway through building renovations, a new addition and site improvements. Once complete, the facility will provide increased storage capacity for public service operations and equipment.

The site will also serve as the future home of a trail connection linking Library Park to Murphy Parkway as part of the future S. Liberty Road railroad crossing project.

Construction is expected to be completed within six months. Thank you for your patience as this work is completed.

May is Building Safety Month! And we want to highlight our building safety professionals who ensure that everything built in Powell is up to code. 🏡

From registering contractors and issuing building permits, our Building Department keeps the City safe.

The Memorial Day Parade is on Monday, and the map is here to help you find the perfect spot to camp out.

The festivities begin at the intersection of Grace Dr. and N. Liberty St., continue south on N. Liberty and finally turn west on W. Olentangy St.

See you at 10 a.m. and don't forget to wear your red, white and blue! 😉

🚧 N. Liberty St. and Olentangy St. will be closed from approximately 9:45 -11:00 a.m.

The Powell Police Department will work to get the road open as quickly as possible after the parade has passed and pedestrians have cleared the area.

Join us Wednesday, May 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Powell City Hall for the fourth Village Green Master Plan open house. Community members are encouraged to stop by, review updated concepts with Pizzuti Solutions and continue sharing feedback to help shape the future of Village Green.

For nearly 30 years, Village Green has served as a central gathering place for the Powell community. As Powell continues to grow, this planning process is focused on preserving what residents value most while exploring opportunities to enhance connectivity, public spaces and community experiences for future generations.
