Hey Patriot Band families!

Our wonderful Boosters Vice President, Heather Guthrie, has organized a special celebration right after the parade. We’ll be honoring both our incoming seniors and our graduating seniors as they step into their next chapter.

All band members are invited to Yager Landscaping at 70 Grace Dr., located right by parade drop‑off, to enjoy a spread of breakfast foods, snacks, and drinks.

Parents who would like to contribute are welcome to bring items or send something with their student when they arrive for the parade.

We’re excited to celebrate our amazing students and share this moment with our graduates! 💙🎓

Huge congratulations to Prateek Kunchala (LHS) and Lake Weeks (OHS) for taking first place at the Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition.

Three rounds. A Gold Medal Concert. And next up — an invitation to perform on NPR’s “From the Top.”
And yes… three of the ensemble members are sophomores. Incredible.

Such an incredible honor for the Chamber Ensemble this weekend. Congratulations to Prateek Kunchala (LHS) and Lake Weeks (OHS) for earning the Gold Medal — first place — at the prestigious Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, one of the top international chamber competitions in the world.

Even more impressive, three of the ensemble members are only sophomores, making this achievement truly extraordinary.

After advancing through three rounds of competition, the ensemble performed at the Gold Medal Concert and will be invited to appear on NPR’s “From the Top.”

The dedication, discipline, and artistry required to reach this level is remarkable. We are so proud of all the students, and especially our very own OLHS student, Prateek.
