I am very Thankful for all the First Responder’s that we have here in Muhlenberg County, because they do one hell of a job and most are Volunteers and don’t get a dime, but they always step up there game when they need to. For this has been a very very difficult week for them all and I would like to say a big big Thank you from The Muhlenberg County EM office. The next few days will be really busy but we will get through it and get through it all together. Again Thank you all for all your hard work. this County is very blessed to have you all.

🚨Per officials on the scene, it is NOT a mandatory evacuation for the entire neighborhood surrounding the gas leak on 181 (despite initial reports)

Only 3 to 4 houses in the immediate area have been INSTRUCTED to evacuate.🚨

Muhlenberg County Alert: Greenville Utilities Commission has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for North Cherry St starting at the intersection of W Depot St, ending at Wilson St, including Faye Ann St, Carolyn St, York St, and Outer York Streets in Greenville

Muhlenberg County Alert: Water District 1 has issued a Boil Water Advisory on Thursday, May 28, 2026 starting at the intersection of State Route 176 and Jacksontown Rd to the Intersection of State Route 176 and Fourteenth Ave in Drakesboro. This advisory includes Jacksontown Rd and Fourteenth Ave and will be until further notice.
