🥞💜 Pancakes + appreciation = a pretty great way to start the day!
Principal Smith and his team were on the griddle this morning at Vinland Elementary, cooking up breakfast during our Military Appreciation Pancake Breakfast...and bringing lots of smiles with it.
April is the Month of the Military Child, and we’ve loved celebrating our military-connected students and families all month long with Purple Up events across the district. To our military families, thank you for all you do and for sharing your kids with us. We’re so grateful to be part of their story. And to our staff and community, thank you for showing up and supporting them each and every day.

This week, Vinland Elementary's annual Bring a Grown-Up to PE lived up to its name in a big way — 148 parents, grandparents, and adult siblings stepped onto the volleyball court alongside their students! 🏐

From lively K-2 classes to some impressive rallies in grades 3-5, the gym was full of energy, laughter, and a few surprisingly competitive moments. Guests even joined in on warm-ups and calming breathing and yoga sessions to close out class.

A big thank you to the Vinland office team for helping clear over 100 volunteers, and to every grown-up who showed up and showed their kids that staying active is something worth making time for. 💙🐬
