Way to go, South Kitsap Southern Little League! ⚾️❤️

​District 2 could not be prouder of the incredible community over at SKSLL. Last night, they hosted their annual auction and raised a phenomenal $21,806—with over $9,000 of that going directly to support one of their own, Archer, and his family.
​This is exactly what Little League is all about: community, family, and lifting each other up when it matters most.

​A huge shoutout to Olalla Bay Market & Landing for providing the beverages, and to all the local sponsors and families who showed up to make the night such a massive success.

Memorial Day Tournament: Sequim Little League is excited to host an action-packed weekend of baseball May 23–25, 2026! Come out and support our Majors and Minors teams as they battle it out all weekend long at Murillo, Knapp, and Thatcher Fields!

Saturday Night “Movie in the Ball Park” @ Dusk
Join us under the stars for a special community movie night fundraiser supporting the MacRae family.

At Sequim Little League, we are about more than just baseball. We are a family. When one of our own is facing an uphill battle, we come together to support them however we can. This Movie Night is an opportunity for our community to rally around the MacRae family and show what makes Little League so special both on and off the field.

Tournament Highlights:
Majors Championship Game — Sunday at 2:00 PM
Minors Championship Game — Monday at 10:00 AM
Fun atmosphere, competitive games, and Memorial Day weekend baseball memories!

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and team spirit! Let’s pack the park and celebrate an amazing weekend of Little League baseball together.

This past weekend, the Sequim Little League and Bainbridge Island Little League Intermediate teams reminded us exactly why we love this game. Beyond the runs and the catches, it’s about the **sportsmanship, the friendships, and the community** built between the white lines.

No matter what color jersey you're wearing, we’re all part of the same team when it comes to celebrating a great game of Little League.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Come on out to Cheney Stadium to catch some good ball games!

If you are looking for a fun and free activity for your Sunday, might we suggest spending the day at Cheney Stadium?? We have some amazing games scheduled to start at 8:30AM with our challenger division, then our Juniors take the field at 11:45am, followed by our Seniors at 3:15pm. Concessions? Open!! Admission? Free!!

District 2 is so proud of the SKELL community for putting together such a fun-filled day for the players and families. Well done to the board, volunteers, and families of SKELL. Let’s play ball!

⚾🥎A huge THANK YOU to all the dedicated volunteers, managers, and coaches from across District 2 who joined us this past Saturday, February 28! It was an incredible full day (9:00 AM – 4:30 PM) of training, and we were thrilled to be back home at Olympic College.

We had an impressive turnout with over 50 volunteers from throughout our district, hitting the gym floor to master the mechanics of being both plate and field umpires. From the proper stance to making the big calls, the energy was high all day!

This clinic wouldn't have been possible without the leadership of our District 2 umpire staff who advised and led the way throughout the session. A special thanks to the team that spearheaded the training:

Chris Mathis (Assistant UIC) Joe Winniford( UIC) and Pat Ryan (District Administrator). Our hardworking Umpire Staff who provided vital support. Not to mention our Assistant DAs who were there throughout the day as well.

Whether you were there to learn or to lead, your commitment to our players and the integrity of the game is what makes our district great. Let’s take this momentum straight to the diamond!

Little League Congress 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana, day 3 is underway.

So far, we’ve heard from players that participated in various World Series, honored some amazing volunteers, and are now learning about aspects of Little League’s strategic plan for continuing to grow and develop their programs.
