Mental Health America of Dutchess County, NY Mental Health America of Dutchess County grew out the Dutchess County Society for Mental Health, a small group of caring citizens who incorporated in 1954.

To make the Hudson Valley a place where anyone can get access to the full spectrum of mental health and addiction services they need, without jumping through unnecessary hoops. We offer programs of Case Management, Community Education, Recovery & Rehabilitation Services, Homeless Services, and Family Support & Advocacy to Dutchess County residents.

The constant rush of 2019 touring left me artistically unsure. When 2020 hit, despite the pandemic's difficulty, it became a blessing in disguise. The enforced silence allowed me to rest, reconnect with my creativity, write my best songs, and even learn production skills. It was a surprisingly productive time.
