POTTS INN Museum- (Pope County Historic Foundation) Pottsville, Arkansas Historic Museum on the Butterfield Overland Mail Route The Potts Inn was built in 1850's.

It's one of the best preserved Stagecoach Stations on the Butterfield Overland mail route between Memphis to Forth Smith, Arkansas. Potts Inn served as Inn, an overnight Butterfield Stagecoach stops, a Post Office, way station, Indian agency, community gatherings and other Political events.

In One Week we will have our Family Fun Day, Friday June 19th starting at 10 am. Make plans to drop by and take advantage of our outdoor games, indoor games, Father's Day Crafts for kids and so much more fun! All for Free! We will have all the games, activities and crafts ready to play until 5:15 pm.

Congratulations Lily Holsted! She won the Potts Inn (Charles and Jean Oates Memorial) Scholarship for 2026. The decision was extremely difficult as we had very impressive entries detailing their experiences with the Potts Inn. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their stories with us.
