Our office is getting reports of a scam again, they are calling and stating you have a warrant, our office does not call for warrants or jury duty, any questions please call our office.

We are getting calls to verify this mailer that’s going out, it does have Sheriff Butler’s signature and photo, this is not a scam, it is in fact a legit solicitation.

Yesterday evening Corporal Timothy O’Connor responded to a call regarding an erratic driver. Within seconds after approaching the car O’Connor was shot and killed.

The driver of the car then exited the vehicle and fatally shot himself.

Please keep Corporal O’Connor’s family, friends, and fellow troopers in your thoughts and prayers as they process this horrific incident and the loss of one of their own. 🙏🏼💙

The scammers are on it again, they are using the Sheriff’s office phone number and saying you’ve missed jury duty and owe money. The Sheriff’s office will never call and tell you you’ve missed jury duty or ask for money, please be aware, hang up and block the number!

Please be advised, our office is getting reports of a Sgt. Dean Mitchell calling people about jury duty, it’s coming up no caller id from the reports we are getting. The Sheriff’s office does not call about jury duty or ever ask for payments. Please hang up and block these numbers, also never send payments! If you have questions please call our office.
