These students once again showed why Pottsville has the best school in the state! Not only did our groups perform well at State Choral Performance Assessment, the auditioned treble group, Camerata, managed to secure a First Division rating (never before accomplished at State CPA) as well as receiving the BEST IN CLASS - SMALL TREBLE ENSEMBLE (THE EQUIVALENT OF STATE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!) It is so exciting to see the Pottsville choir program grow! We can't wait to see what the future holds!

There aren't words to express how proud we are at the work and dedication these students have put in. Never before have the Pottsville Choirs performed so well at Choral Performance Assessment. In the history of the program, there has ever only been one group that went to CPA and received Superior Ratings. This was three years ago, the year before the pandemic caused us to miss CPA for the next two years.

This year, however, we had not one, not two, but THREE groups make Division I, Superior Ratings!!!!

Congratulations to the following for making the 2021 All Region Senior High Choir!!!!! In total with junior high, we had NINETEEN STUDENTS (a new record for Pottsville choirs) make All Region choir this year, with FIVE (ANOTHER new record) of the senior high students eligible to audition for the All State choir in February! The quality of the Pottsville choir program continues to grow by leaps and bounds even in the middle of a pandemic! These students continue to impress and inspire me! Love my Pottsville family!
